Days back then....

Nowadays when I come back to my room after a real hard day and unlock the door I find it all dark, all switches turned off unlike it used to be 7-8 months back..... months back I never had to think about these...... mostly my room open, or may be latched at most, n when I used to get in, used to find the lights on, fan blades circling as if it’s gonna fall any moment, n my lappy on my bed, facebook, omegle(was a big success then), downloads and many more....Life was very simple.

Getting up early was only reserved for few exam days, used to skip them too if we ever had afternoon 1s. More than me, our beloved Jamal da (cook, attendant, and more than that our meal time survivor) used to get surprised in case I was there for breakfast , “....kita ba aajke tumi khawat”(surprised to see u for the breakfast man). Getting a call from my caring friends was my only alarm n hated them for that too....”Saale baby class ke liye nahi aayega kya....” was a very common line from our hostel Papa and even if ever i got up early “hey mera proxy maar dena” sort of sms’es used to flood his inbox. But thanx to my balcony-mate who always made me feel that I was not the last 1 to get up, Padma bhaiya ki jai....Dirty jeans (the dirt always made them look better, believe me), Brute sprayed t-shirt (don’t confuse it with the brute force algorithm, its a perfume brand), and chappals were enough for me to get ready for the very few attended classes. About the activities in there, ’ last page scribbles’ are enough to describe my dedicated, serious attention in the class(simple yet so powerful adverbs, aren’t they ?! )....

Now when I sit with my colleagues in the office canteen what makes me smile is how I used to skip my lunch......Speeches like...

speaker 1 : ”B@@l inko aalu-gobhi aur soyabean chorkar kuch pakana bhi aata hai ya nahi, maδ@Ԅ(#0d mess kon chala raha hai.... ”

speaker2 : “ Saale uske saamne jake bolna, yaha gala kyun faar raha hai ”

speaker from somewhere else : “Mein ja raha hun bijoyda key yaha khane, koi aa raha hai kya ?”

were the most common 1s.

Afternoon used to be the personal movie theater sessions or sessions of Friends/BBT/HIMYM or others of similar kinds, whose initial 30 mins were enough to take me to my own world (read it silly dreams, where tarantino appreciating my movie, u know how it can get, inglorious NITians...) and next thing I know was dark outside with mosquito kissing my ass, legs, hands, and many more.....Intranet gaming was something which always taught me new ways to communicate. Still wonder how a guy from ground floor can direct a guy in 2nd floor without a amplifier....”Saala chaku marke hero banne gaya tha, headshot khaya .....”

And about the social sites, whether it is someone's birthday or his breakup....u r going to see the updates up there, some being, “me and my isolations” (Once I heard that this status inspired Javed Akhtar for the silsila song, though I wonder wat Mark Zuccerberg would like to say about it )...“waiting till my last breath”(Creed lost that case!!)....and others just watching the dirty game being played.....

Social sites are still there may be bettering the social structure or doing worse to it...counter strike, age of ampires, and NFS are still there and the best thing now every lappy supports them...about our mess food, it can’t get better, can they?! :) ....my room 2209, I hope its still there n so do my scribbles n some sketches on the wall... Moti da, Rajkumarda, Zamalda n Co. u ol have always rocked it man \m/....but it seems this life has really changed n it is changing everyday n believe me its no better when I think about my days back in college..... missing u ol......
